In life, the BBC were recording my house based upon a marriage programme.

When searching for ladies "that was easy", but when talking to them in private "it was all a scam"

The investigation shows they were living in the USA, but moved to Ghana and when talking to them. They started to demand monies from different men.

They were all jailed for upto 160 years "for their actions"

The website does not have a verication prooces to verify users

In summary, I would not recommend Oasis Dating to a friend.

I was a member of the site for only 4 weeks and ended up totally despairing of it. I am not a gold digger by any stretch of the word, however I would anticipate that after the initial online chat if there is an interest then a date would follow. Not so on this site!! My impression of the people with whom I made contact was that I was not in fact asked if I might like to go out ... but more often would I like to go to their house / flat to "snuggle" or something similar.

My profile clearly stated that I was indeed looking for a serious relationship, not a casual fling. I am a homeowner, have my own car and work full time. Maybe I was unlucky but the men I have either met or chatted to on this site appear to be looking for one night stands or someone who can carry them.

Needless to say I have removed myself from the site.

In summary, I would not recommend Oasis Dating to a friend.

In theory this concept could work, although the facility for 'others' to be able to share your dating profile on theirs and other's facebook pages is an invasion of private information and somewhat bizarre!...The site offers little or no security and since it is FREE, no-one has to enter their card details (leaving no means for tracing/discovering fraudulent behavior) - I had an encounter with fraud/identity theft and scamming...I placed a complaint twice and the profile is still up there (all the pics are of a well known US musician) - if you do go on Oasis...NEVER leave the site to chat, until you have met-up!..Do NOT send anyone EXTRA pics!!!...and TRUST only what you SEE with your own eyes (although this should be so of all dating sites :)

In summary, I would not recommend Oasis Dating to a friend.

Have never tried anything like this before and i am now wishing I hadn't bothered, the men are only after women who will agree to be their slave or if you are the dominant type, that is the 2 conversations I have had with men on the site and when you tell them that you aren't up for that they block you!

In summary, I would not recommend Oasis Dating to a friend.

I signed up to the site, had a look through some of the other users, thinking I'll have a proper look the next day. The next day came & I was unable to login to the site as my account had been banned because my username was apparently "inappropriate" while i wont what the name was, it was a standard English term.

The site moderators appear to have a god complex and remove anyone they please, for any reason they please.

Avoid.

In summary, I would not recommend Oasis Dating to a friend.

I joined oasis for 2 days before it drove me nuts, it crashes constantly, the ads everywhere are irritating and the other members are for the most part only there for sex not serious dating,if you don't want to swap pics, or be their bit on the side they take you off their contact list, seems to be what most people are on 'dating' sites for.

In summary, I would not recommend Oasis Dating to a friend.
