Just a clarification, Mingles doesn't require you to sign up for a 3rd party service. The site is totally free regardless. Signing up for the other offer just gives you a highlighted profile that appears in the listings. It is a sort-of-cross between dating and social networking. The idea behind the name Mingles, is that you can use this site to meet someone new. Someone that isn't already in your "network". That's why there is a focus on the tagging and groups, chat and forums. In summary, I would recommend Mingles.com to a friend.
