I joined match in spring of 2016, I was getting a lot of attention, but 90% of views,emails were from men who had almost nothing in common with me. And the daily matches were more of the same.

I did however meet some very nice men, unfortunately, most of them did not have the income level I have, therefore were not financially able to travel, and do many others things that I enjoy doing.

I blocked my profile after a month to take a break as it becomes overwhelming, I finally called, wasn't easy finding a phone number, spoke to a woman to discontinue my subscription, she gave an ending date. When that date arrived, I found they had charged me for another 3 months, I was very upset, when I called again, they asked if I had a confirmation number for cancellation, I did not, so apparently I was misled or there was a miscommunication. I did get it canceled that day, but kept my profile hidden as I was in another state for the summer. As I now had another 3 months on the site, I did get back on the site briefly when I returned home.

When my ending date arrived, I found I still getting flirts etc. called again and asked what was up, I was
told that even though my subscription was over my profile is still visible, really!
it was then I realized how come so many of the emails I had send out had never been read! they were no longer active!

That's why I would never rejoin, and should I decide to try another site, I would make sure that is not
their policy, as it makes it appear that they have many more members than they actually do.
And why would anyone waste their time, emailing when there is no possibility that they can respond.
Besides those were the profiles very often, I was most interested in, makes you wonder if they are
keeping the most attractive profiles visible.

In summary, I would not recommend Match.com to a friend.
